Great observation.
The MSM has managed to direct the majority of the American voters to disagree with the war effort. (Latest numbers show 2/3 disapprove of the war as opposed to 5 years ago 2/3 approving.) Redirecting our attention and ignoring important accomplishments, they are making national race an issue for Barack's benefit, while ignoring race issues indicative of our democratic experiment's future survival.
I have a foreign exchange student. While she, nor her parents, are eligible to vote due to their non-national status... I can tell you they support Obama due to his Muslim heritage. Her mother does like Clinton due to the female factor, but apparently really likes that Obama has a Muslim background.

Don't know if this helps... but that's what I've seen.

BTW I have a personal belief that the figures are swayed anyway. Not just by the brainwashing of the media but also because I think they target audiences that will definitely swing things one way. After all, if you go to a military base and ask how they feel about the war effort, you might have a hard time saying "Well it's all bad bad bad" when you have to throw out numbers suggesting otherwise. Likewise if you go to known heavily conservative areas.

But, just so you know, I've always been a bit of a cynic when it comes to polls.
Who do Muslims support? I read where the entire world wants Obama to our next President. It obvious that most people do not know who Obama really is. The following is a sampling of his quotes from his own writings.

Obama sayings from this two books.

Obama said in 'Dreams of my Father', "The emotion between the races could never be pure..... the THE OTHER RACE (WHITE) WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT: MENACING, ALIEN AND APART"

Obama said in 'Dreams Of My Father' "THAT HATE HADN'T GONE AWAY," he wrote, BLAMING white PEOPLE,- SOME CRUEL, SOME IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives."

Obama said in 'Dreams Of My Father', "There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs," he wrote. "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, TO SHOW YOUR LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES, TO STRIKE OUT, and name names"

Obama said in 'The Audacity Of Hope', "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Include in this the recent anti-American rambling of his wife and you have a family that hates America and our traditions. Americans should wake up the real Obama and quit looking at him as if he a savior.

Thanks Judge. This proves the "The Youth Vote Scandal." along with "The Main Stream Media's Inability to Neutral".

That's so true. I been directed to Muslim websites lately and they all want Obama. That's out in the open plain for all to see. But many, mostly young college age (planning on voting) kids believe the Islam is a peaceful religion and that muslims are victims of the whole world crap. It's ashame these kids won't do their homework to find out the truth.

Check out this website "Muslims for Barak Obama '08". This is just one of tons of sites.

Yeah I remember the polls and how they kept saying Kerry was winning in 04. That lie was blown completely out of the ball park.

Thank you Timothy - Very helpful information indeed!
The Muslim religion is like all others. It teaches peace. It teaches of God's love. I've read the Koran. I've many Muslim friends. My foreign exchange student is a beautiful and caring Muslim girl. I work with the Muslim refugees fleeing genocidal persecution in Africa.

Christians have just as much blood if not more than Muslims. For centuries Christians tried to wipe out anyone different from them. Convert from paganism or die. Save the Holy Land from infidels. Wipe out the Muslim scourge in Africa. Persecute any that don't want to follow the same Christian precepts as you. Baptist against Catholic against Methodist against LDS against... You even see it in same sects. Baptists vs Baptists. So on and so forth.

There are warriors in every religion feeling the need to promote violence, hatred, and persecution in the name of their God. It is not right. However, we cannot single out one religion and hold it high as an example when all are guilty. And really, it is not the religion that is guilty but the misguided people within that religion.

It is a shame that people do not learn their history. Those that believe Islam is a violent religion do not do their study to find out WHY. They do not read about the many centuries of European Christians invading, controlling, killing. They do not take the time to learn what the socio-econimic reasonings are behind anyone's actions.

Because it's easier to believe all of Islam is evil, George Bush is a moron driving this nation into the ground, Democrats should be worshiped as Gods, and Oil is more precious than gold. So much easier to believe the crap out there than to attempt to learn the truth and educate oneself. If you learn the truth and educate yourself, you may not like what you find out.

They say ignorance is bliss. Perhaps it is. Ask your neighbours.
I will tell you right now, we must have studied total different resources. And I've also read the Quran. Why is Islam pointed to right now? Because in the name of that religion is the war that has been brought to us. We did not start that war. But we will not back down! Why are muslims in this light? Because they aren't standing up calling this sect evil. In the christian church, the true christians will stand up and call out the ones teaching false doctrine but then they are looked down upon by those who would call them Judgmental.

Obviously you haven't read the true history of the crusades. Until you do, we have nothing more to discuss!

I've no doubt that there are many nice Muslim people when they know you personally. I also have no doubt that those same Muslims are not speaking out against Muslim extremism in any public way. The extremists don't hear it from them.
As to equivalence of all religions, Christians did do some bad things in response to Muslim aggression 700 years ago. However, Christians admit their errors and correct them on the whole. Not so the Muslims. Not even the moderates. There is a rare voice who will condemn the extremists, but this has the overall effect of making room for Islamic injection of Sharia into our legal systems. Forced arranged marriages are practiced today in the West. That's what the honor killings are about. Women are being killed for disobeying their parents, for shaming their families by dating, by refusing to wear the hijab. Where are the moderate voices in the public square condemning this even here, where they enjoy freedom of speech? They are too busy condemning the U.S. and Israel. Silence on the subject is a statement.
The Muslims are lobbying Canada and England and the U.S. to implement Sharia. If the West capitulates to a legal double standard by allowing a parallel legal system for Sharia how long before they are practicing corporal punishment here? Jihad is being waged on many fronts, violently as well as by using our own systems and programs against us.
I recognize your sensitivity to judgmental religious prejudice, I feel it too, only I'm getting it from secularists which is a religion. However that bigotry is non-violent for the most part. That doesn't mean I should not condemn religious bigotry of another religion in violent action now.
