Not only is it unconstitutional, it isn't helpful. Now the US taxpayer is on the hook for $700 billion in bad loans, but the problem isn't solved. We had another historic one day drop in the stock market in spite of Mr. Socialist President Bush's bailout plan. Doesn't seem to be helping the economy, does it?

Socialism is the enemy within. I completely agree with everyone's concerns. I supported quick action to pump confidence into the U.S. dollar. I did not foresee the international crisis this lead domino the American economy is causing the collapse of every trade institution in the world. Even with that picture in hindsight, I think it was the right thing to do. Unfortunately, the Congress stomped around spitting at one another too long for it to have made a big enough difference. Now, we are watching the corrupt flux and fluff take control of the bail out money. Get the reform party in there to get control of what's left of the bailout and correct these mistakes. It may yet be saved, but not with those crooks bleeding off the rescue medicine.
